Week 2 had a lot of memorable moments, from single-digit games to double-digit blowouts. It has featured three out of four teams that have won their matchups. Therefore, you can expect to see some changes in the power rankings.
8. Houston Roughnecks (0-2)
The Roughnecks have been losing 11-3 in the 4th quarter and have failed to make an eye-catching comeback. Lacking only a couple of inches, the team’s quarterback, Anthony Brown, was caught right before the goal line trying to make the 2-point conversion attempt. If he succeeded, it could be their first victory since last year.
7. San Antonio Brahmas (0-2)
The Brahmas could boast the leading scoring defence in the previous year, but they couldn’t show the same quality in 2025. Having played 2 games of the season, they collected 59 points. The offense hasn’t shown any impressive results as well, with only 18 points scored.
6. Memphis Showboats (0-2)
Since the head coach of the team appeared on the sideline, the offense of the team was rather imposing. E.J. Perry has made 18 passes for 194 yards, and Jonathan Adams has caught half of these passes and become the 1st receiver to notch 100 yards.
5. Michigan Panthers (1-1)
The Michigan Panthers aren’t the best option to bet online on GG.Bet because of the lowest chances to win the 2025 title. The efficiency and decisiveness of Bruce Perkings, the team’s quarterback, were similar to those shown during Week 1. He completed 12 out of 23 completions for touchdowns and one more interception.
Though D.J. Miller managed to record 2 interceptions per game, it didn’t help to score a goal, even being only 1 yard away.
4. Birmingham Stallions (1-1)
Stallions have suffered from their 2nd loss during Week 1 for the second year already, but this black line has ended with a recent 21-12 win. According to Holtz, it didn’t look like something pretty or electric, similar to scoring a million points, but it was a significant achievement in football to show such a unique kind of defense.
He also admitted that they could achieve several more big wins and get more points, but even without them, he was proud of the way they played and fought. Luckily, after bad luck in the previous week, they managed to enjoy winning football.
3. Arlington Renegades (2-0)
Last year, Arlington’s game with Houston during Week 2 was likely to finish with a loss. But this season has made it possible for the Renegades to take the lead and become winners, which is a clear sign of the club’s confidence.
Arlington’s game has been characterized by a 92-yard 15-play drive to make the first game touchdown and secure a win of 11-9, making it impossible to defeat. Naturally, this victory wasn’t as impressive as the 33 points scored during Week 1. However, only 9 points have been allowed by the Renegades defense for the 1st and 2nd weeks.
Both wins over San Antonio and Houston have provided Arlington with a chance to get the title of the 2025 UFL Texas state champion.
2. DC Defenders (2-0)
DC Defenders returned to get a victory over the Showboats, though they trailed 12-9 in the 4th quarter and allowed both a 100-yard rusher and receiver.
The head coach of defenders, Shannon Harris, credited the twelfth man located at Audi Field for assisting the Defenders to win 17-12. He appreciated fans of the venue a lot since their support by the end of the game had impacted Memphis significantly. Naturally, it resulted in the game delay for this reason. Defenders have received a lot of power from them, and fans have created impressive penalties for their opponents, too.
When it comes to players, defenders Leon O’Neal and Markel Roby made a combination of 15 tackles and 2 sacks, and 1 forced fumble was achieved by Roby.
- St. Louis Battlehawks (2-0)
Sunday was a sign day for the Battlehawks because they defeated the Brahmas with a score of 26-9. It allowed them to move to 2-0 this season and tie in the XFL Conference with Defenders for the first time. This team hasn’t trailed before and was subjected to full control for both weeks.
In a couple of weeks, Anthony Becht’s team resembled a squad to be beaten in the UFL. According to head coach Anthony Becht, he felt that his team is touched by almost everyone, but his guys rooted for each other, and if they continue doing that, they can achieve very impressive results. The team hasn’t lost a home game for 2 years already.
