The 5 Best NFL Teams in 2024

With the NFL season approaching, the focus will be on the top 10 NFL teams and their potential. Fans interested in these teams can also engage beyond the stands and TV by betting and finding a sportsbook with no deposit bonus codes. Who are the best NFL teams? Let’s take a look at the shortlist.

San Francisco 49ers

The defending NFC champions are easily among the top NFL teams. Though there is some debate as to who is the very best among the top 10 NFL teams 2024, the 49ers are often in the top two of that debate.

They return their entire core featuring Brock Purdy, Christian McCaffrey, Deebo Samuels, George Kittle, and Brandon Aiyuk, plus one of the best defenses in the league. Of the best teams in the NFL, the 49ers may be the team to beat.

Kansas City Chiefs

How can you do a list of the top NFL teams and leave out the back-to-back Super Bowl champions? Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid have become the new Tom Brady and Bill Belichick, capable of carrying their team to the promised land.

Though the offense is great, the defense is what made the Chiefs one of the best teams in the NFL last year. That group is back and looking better than ever, so the Chiefs are easily on the top 10 NFL teams 2024 list.

Detroit Lions

Things have changed drastically for a franchise that was rarely among the top 10 NFL teams. Now, the Lions are among the handful of NFC teams that seem to have a legitimate chance at winning the Super Bowl.

The offense is elite, but the defense now appears to have the talent to match it. The NFC North will be there for the taking and the Lions are hoping to not only return to the NFC Championship Game but get to their first Super Bowl ever.

Baltimore Ravens

You can’t have a list of the best NFL teams without the Ravens. Two-time NFL MVP Lamar Jackson is back and has more weapons than ever. The Ravens are consistently very good and a threat to win it all.

The X-factor for the season could be running back Derrick Henry. He has dominated in Tennessee for years and now joins an elite running game. The potential there is unlimited and could make the Ravens unstoppable.

Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals didn’t make the playoffs last year with quarterback Joe Burrow on the sidelines. Burrow is healthy and back in the lineup, ready to take his team back to the Super Bowl. There are some changes on offense – Joe Mixon and Tyler Boyd are gone – but it should still be a very good unit.

The defense has been one of the better units in the NFL for the last few years and should be the driving force behind any success the team has. The AFC has heavy competition, but the Bengals have what it takes to get the job done.
