Atlanta Falcons Release Frank Ginda with Dispersal Draft Looming

Frank Ginda’s NFL career is put on hiatus right now. On December 22nd, the Former Panthers LB was released in favor of the Falcons signing Punter Pat O’Donnell.

Ginda spent Two seasons with the Michigan Panthers, before joining the Falcons during the 2023 training camp. Ginda would be released after totaling 12 tackles in Two preseason games with Atlanta finding his way back to Michigan on September 30th. Ginda would be once again released by Michigan joining the Falcons on November 28th. Ginda earned $36,000 per spotrac during his time with the Falcons.

With the recent signing of Issac Darkangelo the Panthers may of thought Ginda would not be rejoining the team in the immediately future. Now with Ginda on the market it appears Michigan may be on a time crunch in an effort to re-sign the All-USFL Linebacker. Currently the Panthers roster sits at 56 players with the team set to trim down to 42 and pick up 10 more players from their dispersal draft on December 27th.
