Kevin Kugler & Mark Sanchez To Call USFL Games As Fox Sports #2 Broadcast Team

John Ourand of Sports Business Journal revealed that Kevin Kugler and Mark Sanchez would be the #2 broadcast team at Fox Sports to call USFL games. Both have worked NFL games together before.

“Fox Sports rounded out its USFL announcers by having Kevin Kugler handle play-by-play, Mark Sanchez as the in-booth analyst, and Brock Huard on the sidelines as the network’s No. 2 USFL announce team.”

Last week, Fox Sports said that Curt Menefee and Joel Klatt would be its top United States Football League announce team. Menefee and Klatt have experience calling spring football games. They were Fox Sports’ top broadcast team calling XFL games in 2020.

Kugler called TSL games last year for Fox. This is the first time Mark Sanchez has worked spring football games. Brock Huard has also worked spring football doing sideline work for XFL games.

The USFL kicks off its season this Saturday at 7:30pm ET. The New Jersey Generals take on the Birmingham Stallions on Fox and NBC.
