New head coach John DeFilippo and new General Manager Ryan Jones took over the team in the back half of 2022, and those changes have been coming to fruition ever since. The Breakers added HBCU standout quarterback Aqeel Glass early in December, and several other additions have followed in the leadup to the league’s second season.
