Panthers Bring Back Offensive Lineman Josh Dunlop for 2024

The Panthers remained active early in the Offseason for the second consecutive week. After signing Keith Williams, the Panthers retained another 2022 USFL Draft pick Tuesday night, amid a flurry of USFL transactions throughout the league. The Panthers announced that Josh Dunlop out of UTSA would be returning to Michigan for 2024, for his third season in the USFL.

Dunlop was Michigan’s 7th round pick in 2022, after stints with the LA Chargers and Ottawa Redblacks of the CFL, in 2020 and 2021 respectively. In 2022, Dunlop was selected in the Panthers in 2022, serving as a spot starter over the past two seasons. In 2023, Dunlop played in 10 games starting 4 games and was graded with a 76.4 grade, making him the only USFL tackle to earn 70.0-plus run-blocking and pass-blocking grades.

With the Panthers gearing up for the 2024, the additions of consistent Offensive Linemen like Williams and Dunlop in Offensive Coordinator Eric Marty’s Offense bodes well for Michigan going into season 3 of the USFL. Currently the Panthers roster sits at 59 players per Fox sports, with the USFL offseason fully under way.
