Panthers Continue to Build Roster, Signing Jamal Milan and Noah Johnson

The 2023 off-season of the Michigan Panthers has seen now 11 players join Jeff Fisher’s squad for the upcoming year. Most recent Jamal Milan and Noah Johnson transition from free agency to bolster the Offensive and Defensive Lines of the 2023 roster.

The Center Noah Johnson comes by way of Kansas State where he started 23 games in 20-21. While at KSU, he was selected to the 2nd team All-Big Ten (2020) in addition to be an honorable mention in 2021. Upon going undrafted in 2022 Johnson had signed with the Roughriders of the CFL for a short while before eventually coming down south back to the United States.

Milan comes by way of the University of Illinois. Undrafted out of 2020, Milan would resurface in The Spring League in 2021 with the Blues before bouncing around some IFL rosters for a bit. Most recently Milan was with the Spokane Shock of the IFL.

As rosters continue to be built the Panthers creep closer and closer to filling their back half of the newly extended roster. For team with less than desirable offensive line play last year, and the sometimes-lacking pass rush the additions of Johnson and Milan are extremely welcome for the hopefully new and improved big boys of the Michigan Panthers.
