STAMFORD, Conn. – June 9, 2022 – NBC Sports presents a USFL doubleheader this Saturday featuring the top two teams in the league, headlined by the North Division-leading New Jersey Generals (7-1) against the Michigan Panthers in a divisional matchup at 1 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock from Protective Stadium in Birmingham, Ala. The Gamblers defense is led by the USFL’s leading tackler, linebacker Donald Payne (96), and sack leader, defensive end Chris Odom (11). In their 13-3 loss to the Tampa Bay Bandits last week, Payne registered 11 tackles and Odom had three sacks.
