Darrin Paulo is back in the USFL. After starting out with the then Tampa Bay Bandits in the spring of 2022, Paulo returns to the USFL, under the rebranded Memphis Showboats. Paulo spent the 2022 season with the Detroit Lions on their Practice Squad before getting released in August of 2023.
Paulo was a late signing by the Bandits in June of 2022. Prior to that he had stints with the Saints, Broncos, and Lions coming out of Utah in 2020. Paulo earned $444,500 during his NFL career per Spotrac.

Currently the Showboats have 50 players on their roster. With merger talks and negotiations rumored to come to an end, look for Memphis to continue to build going forward with the 2024 season right around the corner. Memphis currently is looking for a new coach with Todd Haley not returning in 2024.
