Stallions Release Darrion Daniels and Bryan Mills

After signing two players in the morning, GM Zach Potter released CB Bryan Mills and DE Darrion Daniels both of which were members of the 2023 championship team.

Daniels was signed during the 2022 off-season after spending his NFL career with the 49ers and Falcons. The Texas native appeared in three games for Birmingham as a rotational piece on their defensive line recording Two tackles. He was inactive during the Stallions playoff run.

Mills was another rotational Defensive Player for the Stallions bouncing between their active and inactive roster. The North Carolina Central Alum has been in the USFL since it’s return in 2022 spending both seasons with the Birmingham Stallions. Despite being with the team since 2022 Mills only recorded 10 tackles and no interceptions throughout his USFL career.

Currently the Stallions roster sits at 55 players with December 6th’s transactions. Birmingham has spent the last two years dominating the USFL winning back-to-back championships under HC Skip Holtz. For more insight on the merger check out my reaction video below!
