Former WWE Champion Big E is set to bring his energy and charisma to the United States Football League’s (USFL) Michigan Panthers as their new official home game emcee.
On Tuesday, WWE announced that Big E has joined forces with the USFL team. The Panthers play their home games at Ford Field in Downtown Detroit, which is also hosting WWE SummerSlam in August.

Michigan Panthers Enlist WWE Superstar Ettore “Big E” Ewen as Official Home Game Emcee
DETROIT—Ahead of their first home game on April 30, the Michigan Panthers announced that WWE Superstar Ettore “Big E” Ewen will be their official emcee for all home games this season. Big E’s involvement will enhance the USFL’s fan-first, family-friendly atmosphere with even more excitement and entertainment.
Big E will bring his enthusiasm to five Michigan Panthers home games this season: April 30, May 6 against the Memphis Showboats, May 13 against the Pittsburgh Maulers, May 20 against the Birmingham Stallions, and June 18 against the Philadelphia Stars. The final home game on June 18 will also celebrate WWE Superstars Night, honoring the WWE and its fans.
“I am thrilled to collaborate with the USFL and the Panthers as the team returns to Michigan,” said Big E. “Detroit has some of the most passionate fans in the world, and I’m eager to connect with them at Ford Field, which will host SummerSlam in August.”
Big E will engage with fans at Ford Field through pre- and post-game interactions, in-stand interviews during the game, on-field recognitions, and touchdown celebrations. Fans can participate in WWE Big E Fan Cam Moments by tweeting photos from the game for a chance to appear on the videoboards and social media.
