Showboats Sure Up Offensive Line with Duke Alum Chance Lytle

After seeing TE Daniel Helm join the Detroit Lions, the Showboats were quick to his roster spot by signing a rookie looking for an opportunity. After working out for the New York Giants who lost Alt-League stand out J.C. Hassenauer (Birmingham Iron-AAF) for the season, the Showboats signed Chance Lytle an Offensive Guard out of Duke.

Lytle, whose an accomplished Opera Singer, is a larger bruting Guard from San Antonio, began his college career at the University of Colorado (17-21), before transferring to Duke for the 2022 season. Lytle appeared in 40 games while in college starting 17, while earning All-Academic honors multiple times throughout his time at both universities.

Lytle now joins a Showboats Offensive Line that includes All-USFL OT Jarron Jones, and NFL Veteran Corbin Kaufusi. Currently the Showboats roster has 61 players as the USFL Offseason progresses, with more USFL players receiving workouts like Derrick Dillon, look for the Showboats roster to continue to change as the offseason goes in full swing.
