Showboats Bring Back Jordan Ferguson After Stint with Seahawks

Jordan Ferguson is back “home” in Memphis for 2024. The Middle Tennessee Alum is returning to the Showboats after spending the back half of training camp with the Seahawks this past August.

Ferguson appeared in all three preseason games with the Seahawks, totaling 9 tackles and 1.0 Sack, for Seattle. A late signing in the 2023 season, Ferguson appeared in 4 games for the Showboats totaling 2.5 Sacks, and 7 tackles during his short tenure in the USFL.

Currently the Showboats roster lists 55 players going into the USFL’s free agency period beginning October 1st. With a merger currently on the horizon with the XFL, teams of both leagues continue to operate independently until more details come to light. Last season the Showboats went 5-5 falling short of a playoff appearance under head coach Todd Haley.
